Geoff McWilliam
GDM Property is managed by Geoff McWilliam. He has been developing and managing land subdivisions for nearly 30 years
After his early career as an accountant at Ernst & Young, he joined his family development company. He has since been involved in the development of in excess of 10,000 lots and managed master planned communities with residential and commercial components for major public and private companies including Citimark, Stockland, Lensworth, Ray Group and Delfin Lend Lease.
He partnered with Citimark for over 10 years on land sub-division and lead the expansion and management of the planning, marketing, development and sales teams on new residential subdivisions and master planned projects.
Prior to Citimark, he was the Project Director for the award winning, 1,000ha master-planned community North Lakes in Brisbane, where he won numerous awards. Other major projects that Geoff has lead include Glenmore Park in Western Sydney and Kawana Waters on the Sunshine Coast, Qld.
He has a Bachelor of Commerce (UQ) and Masters of Built Environment (QUT). He is a member of the Property Council of Australia and the Urban Development Institute of Australia as well as being a current serving member of the UDIA Logan Branch Committee.
Geoff is now focused on his private development business GDM Property to deliver a portfolio of residential subdivisions, housing and retirement village investments.
In the past 6 years Geoff has successfully developed 8 projects of between 34 to 185 lots within budget and program. Throughout this time, he has established great relationships with consultants, contractors and local council within the Logan area.
